Ok, I am having trouble hooking my blackberry to my PC. It says that the USB is not recognized. I was able to access it before I installed the software, but now I cannot, and I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling….. Nothing. Please help me…

@NReyes1011 dude if u want the app get it – everything i say in this video i learned from trying the app itself.
You don’t need tether, The new desktop manager has a feature which connects your blackberry.
All you need to do is click on the ip modem icon, click configure and find your network provider and click ok. It should input the details automatically.
Then you click connect and it turns your blackberry into modem mode, just beware if you close the desktop manager it may leave the connection open.

@ChristyAlferes the cdma carriers are very selfish with their cell services. I say, if i have unlimited anyway, why can’t i cook it up on my laptop, right? Well, tetherberry still works and it’s called Tether now.
As of 04-10-2010 does Tetherberry still work? I have Curve 8330 on Sprint Unlimited $99 – Thanks for any insight
ie: was able to use Curve 8330 as modem through Sprint Smart View up until Fall 09 – when I called tech support ( 3 times!) finally got a cust. rep who said I woudnt be allowed to do that anymore – and that I was never supposed to have access. (the main reason i bought the damn thing was for this purpose, did my research and now they take away)

@krutchaz I have. I updated everything via desktop manager. Both say connected, testing connecting on b berry is a success. Idk what the problem is. I’m reformatting tonight to XP my pc is a little messed atm ill give it a go then.
Not sure. make sure everything is cool with your berry and start the process over a a few times.
i have rogers (canada) and it says connection is good on both ends but i cannot seem to connect to a webpage, any suggestions?
